Think about when you are grocery shopping:
- We want a dozen eggs with no broken ones.
- Do you inspect a package of strawberries for mold?
- In addition, we check the expiration dates on the milk or creamer.
Never settle. Look at galleries of photos of the artist’s past work and check out the artist’s Google Reviews. These are where you will get to see and read the most accurate details about a specific artist.
Does the work or reviews of a wedding makeup artist reflect accuracy when working with a large bridal party? Are you looking for airbrush makeup, and does the artist offer it?
Here is an example of a review written for me:
“Nancy is amazing! She made me and my bridesmaids look and feel so glamorous and celebrity-like!! We also appreciated how genuine and go-with-the-flow she was throughout the process, especially with the excitement before our wedding! Omg -she knows what’s up, haha
I will definitely use Nancy the next time I need my makeup done professionally – or for a serious pick me-up!”
What kind of makeup look are you interested in? Natural makeup? Glam? Somewhere in the middle? Check out the makeup style in the photos. Is this the style you are looking for?
There are so many factors to take into consideration; do your research!
Pricing is also a factor. Wedding makeup artists’ pricing varies depending on experience, products, and demographics. These details are another reason to look into everything the makeup artist can offer.
I can’t express enough to you to look at Google reviews. You often learn about an artist’s personality and overall quality.
