Derry NH Wedding – A Winter Wedding at Birchwood Vineyards with Casa Creatives
Derry NH Wedding
Winter weddings in Derry New Hampshire can be quite stunning and the wedding of Meghan and Mike made no exception! It was sunny and beautiful. Snow on the ground from a previous storm and the perfect venue in Derry New Hampshire at Birchwood Vineyards.
For anyone wondering how long Birchwood Vineyards has been in Derry, well since 2015 when the Party and Event planning venue Promises to Keep changed over to Birchwood Vineyards! The article in the Eagle Tribune is right here telling you all about it!
Photographers Elan and James of Casa Creatives photographed this gorgeous event, they shared there favorites from the wedding here on there blog so you can see more! I chose a select few to showcase as well!
Meghan was referred to me by one of her bridesmaids who I met a year before at another wedding and I’m so thankful to Kylie for the recommendation. We had such a great time and I can’t wait to see her again! In fact I had such a fun time doing all these ladies makeup!
I also had the pleasure of doing Meghan’s mom’s makeup, here’s her and her lovely mom before the ceremony!
I did all but one bridesmaid but here are all the girls and all the guys! Such a good looking group of people! Also a really good friend of the bride Shanna Keene did Meghan and the girls hair! The lovely bouquets were made by Meghan’s Aunt Kathy and wow they are gorgeous!
The ceremony setting was just gorgeous! The hardwood floors, the fireplace and the spaciousness of this venue was just so amazing. After the ceremony, these chairs were moved to tables and the space become the dance floor!
Love moments like this, no words needed, it says it all.
Some of the details from the day! The girls all had there own bottles with there names on them. Meghan found the water bottles on Etsy, she made the seating cards all by herself saving wine corks and wow that was a lot of wine to drink! The cake is from Chickadee Hill Cakes in Sandown NH and the Tree Guest Book off Amazon.
The floral centerpieces were by Britton Designs of Sandown New Hampshire
I asked Meghan to tell me a little story and also one of the most memorable parts of the whole day. Please take a moment to read this. I was there for the emotional moment when her aunt brought her bouquet. I had tears in my eyes also.
I knew I wanted to get married at Birchwood the minute I walked in the door. It had the same smell as my Dad’s log cabin in Pittsburgh NH which made me feel like this is the exactly the right spot.
Family is very important to Mike and I. One of the most memorable parts of the day for me was receiving my wedding flowers. My Mom and Aunt included my god mothers earnings and lace from her wedding dress on my boutique. They also include a St.Nicholas pin for my brother who passed away. It made me feel like a part of them was there with me on the day.
