Makeup and Skincare Troubleshooting

I recently released a survey on Facebook that reveled several client’s “trouble spots”, and I’m excited to share that I have solutions for these issues! From inevitable skin aging to dryness and acne, there are many products and methods to correct your skin and hide blemishes. Here you go, makeup and skincare troubleshooting

Sun damage can make your skin look aged and dull. A product I’ve found to be extremely helpful in fading these spots is Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. I noticed most of my freckles fading after one use! To avoid too much sun exposure, be sure to apply sunscreen every day and wear a hat outside. Above all, choose a makeup or moisturizer with SPF 30.

The best (and truthfully, the only way) to truly hide acne is with some great concealer. Don’t be deceived, “great” doesn’t always mean pricey. Try Ulta Beauty’s brand, I run through this product! This concealer is also great to use for under-eye circles and contouring. In those cases, choose a shade one or two shades lighter than your foundation for a brightening look. It’s also waterproof so no worries if you’re heading to the beach!

One of the worst things for your skin is dehydration. Keep your skin looking fresh and healthy by drinking plenty of water, and taking daily adult vitamins! In addition, repair your skin with a weekly skin mask and a heavy night cream, such as CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion. Before adding makeup, apply a daily moisturizer and primer!  makeup and skincare troubleshooting
