New England Wedding Makeup – Gold n Blush – What’s the Rush?
It’s not every day that your own wedding rings get photographed for a style shoot. When the amazing photographer Chris Keeley asked if there were any rings to shoot, the few of us in the room looked at each other, I held up my hand and asked “will these do” and off they went with another ring to take part in this awesome style shoot that was put together at The Manor in West Boylston. Thank you so much to Andrea and Maggie at the Manor! Part of this shoot was to show off there new hard wood floors! Check out how gorgeous it is!
Our lovely model Erika wore a stunning gown by Allure Bridals Romance Collection available at Home of Elegance by Carbonneau. It fit her perfectly and Erica looked like a million bucks!
Erika’s 2 daughters were models along with her husband and their friend and best man from there wedding. So it all felt like home to this family who we are thankful to for getting dressed up and posing for us. Thanks to these ladies too for allowing me and Gina of Salon 57 to have free reign on hair and makeup. For me it was “age appropriate makeup” for these girls ages.
When putting together this style shoot, the 1st thing we tackled was a color scheme. So we went with a popular trend of gold and blush. The decor was stunning and all he players involved did an amazing job! Thank you to our fine vendors who helped us portray our style shoot featuring an already formed family. In today’s day and age, sometimes kids come 1st, then the wedding, and that’s ok. I mean, what’s the rush right? Get married when it feels right!
Look at this face! Including your kids into the ceremony can be hit or miss, but you can always count on a funny face or 2 🙂
While we’re looking at her face, check out the back of her head too! Love the floral crown by Herbert Berg Florist! She sat so still and pretty when Gina was doing her hair before she hopped up on my chair for some lip gloss 🙂
and this….. need I say more?
My friends Patti of Simply Done… added her touch and style to this amazing style shoot, check out some of Patti’s details!
When we were looking for a few more kids to be included, I called my brother to see if I could “rent a kid” and I’m a lucky auntie and got 2 of them! Thanks to my super star nieces Sarah and Anna for getting dressed up for us! I know, such a hardship right? But would you please stop growing up so fast!
Over the past few years I’ve gotten to know a model very well, Bethany Murray has posed for me many times and she came through for us again! Thank you so much sweetie, as always you are a team player, gorgeous and fun to hang around!
They all lived happily ever after! Cheers!
Thanks to all everyone who took part in this style shoot!
