Style shoots are designed to bring back a type of era and for the most part offer a “tribute” of sorts to era’s and I had a vision to bring back “Peace and Love” in this crazy world we live in and we gave a new twist on a Boho Chic style wedding!

When I met some of the staff at the Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton MA, they told me about the brand new ballroom they were building. So I immediately got in touch with there event planner Alex and proposed my idea to her and they were so on board! Little did we know the date we picked would be one day before there new Chiavari Chairs would arrive 🙁 They make a world of difference! So image your diningroom setup up with those chairs instead of these classics!

I then reached out to my good friend Tracy over at Inked-Events and asked her if she would like to execute this shoot and I was thrilled to hear she was on board too! She also was able to bring in one of her staff Maureen to create stationary and place cards too!

Tracy and I sat down and I gave her my wish list including models of real husband and wife Kayla and Tao Rizai who both are thinking of pursuing some modeling careers in the future.

Our good friends over at Black Thumb Studio came all the way from the south shore to shoot this for us and we are very grateful! We love Jeff and George and couldn’t be happier with how these turned out! All the photo’s except a few were shot by them! Thanks so much guys! Can’t wait to do it again someday!

At a Newburyport YPP meeting that I attended, I met Melissa and Scarlette of Free Range Floral and as they were wearing matching blush colored shirts, I gravitated towards them almost all night as they were so sweet and kind. Thanks for being so awesome! These florals are amazing!

Around that same time, I met hair stylist Elizabeth Lysik who is now Elizabeth Woundy of Teased Salon & Spa of Haverhill and asked her if she would like to do Kayla and Tao’s hair for the shoot and she came through for us!

Pure Bliss of Newburyport had a gown hanging in there window for quite a while that I was drooling over and when I was invited over there to take a look at a few options of gowns for this shoot, I couldn’t keep my eyes of this one so I sent pictures to Tracy and got her approval as well and ohhhhhhh baby!!!!!!!!!! Did it look amazing on Kayla!

Ohhh the VW Bus! My dreams came true when I heard that one of my brides from last year and her husband had restored one and was sitting in there driveway, I sent a text and plea and there you have it! Bud of Salem Five drove it over, hung out, had lunch with us and worked his portable office while we took some fun pictures with it! Thanks so much to Bud and Julie

On a personal note, my late mothers fine china was also featured in this shoot, something I don’t believe she ever would have seen. She probably was cursing me from above as this was her pride and joy and fearful something would happen to it. But we all took amazing care of it!
