Earlier this month, the FDA reported that chemicals from sunscreens (like oxybenzone, avobenzone, and octocrylene) are absorbed into your bloodstream within one day of use! (Source: USA Today) Now with summer approaching, purchase all-natural sunblock will protect you from harmful UV rays.
[Cons: some mineral-based sunscreens take longer to absorb and don’t last as long as the leading chemical sunscreens (especially in water)… but if decreasing your risk of cancer is the reason you use sunscreen, avoiding chemicals is vital!]

Antiperspirants
There’s a chance that antiperspirants may cause breast cancer, because of the use of aluminum salts. So, just to be safe, switch to an all-natural option, like Native deodorant.
Side Note: Native is a deodorant, and technically not an antiperspirant. However, it contains natural drying agents that will absorb moisture. It took a few days to get used to its texture, but overall, I like it as much as the Dove antiperspirant I used in the past!
